- I am writing to invite views on proposed draft offences and penalties Regulations that carry forward the implementation of EC Regulation 842/2006 on Certain Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases.
2. A separate consultation paper is being issued dealing with implementation issues relating to the 2006 Regulation No 2037/2000 on substances that deplete the ozone layer. This can be found at http://www.defra.gov.uk/corporate/consult/ozone/index.htm The proposals in that paper affect some but not all of the sectors affected by this consultation paper, which is why separate consultation papers are being published.
3. This consultation is available on the Defra website at: http://www.defra.gov.uk/corporate/consult/f-gas/index.htm
4. The following documents may be found on Defra’s website;
· Letter to consultees;
· List of consultees; and,
· Annex A (proposed draft regulations)
· Annex B (draft partial Regulatory Impact Assessment).
5. We welcome your views and comments on the proposals.
